Nights Away Notification (Form NAN)  

The current NAN Form from The Scout Association is that dated JANUARY 2023, Edition 10. 

On the Nights Away Permit Scheme page of The Scout Association website, you will find all the relevant informatiion you need, including the link to download the most up to date NAN Form which now has references to Contingency Plans (if the planned events cannot take place),

Please Note: A Change to P.O.R. means that Squirrel Scouts are now allowed to engage in Nights Away.

Please remember that when submitting your NAN Form to your District Commissioner at least 7 days prior to your event, it should be accompanied by your InTouch system with details of the main contacts who should be contacted in the event of an emergency.
