Field Sports Equipment and Instructor Hire

Archery

Half day or evening £25/£30, full day £50/£60 for Scouts in North Yorkshire/Scouts outside North Yorkshire & other youth organisations, plus instructors' mileage cost at NYS rate

Air rifles

Full day/weekend/week £40/£60/£75 for Scouts in North Yorkshire, £50/£80/£100 for Scouts outside North Yorkshire & other youth organisations, plus instructors' mileage cost at NYS rate. Consumables extra: we recommend buying targets and pellets: locally for your event. Rifles can be hired for scouts own use with a qualified person in charge.  Collect/return at county store.

Equipment hire only

Soft air pistols

Half day or evening £30, full day £60 including targets & pellets. Pistols can be hired for scouts own use with a responsible person in charge.  Collect/return at county store.

Soft Archery

Rental is £20/£25/£30 per evening/day/weekend for the full kit for Scout Association members in North Yorkshire. (£25/£30/£35 per evening/day/weekend for Scouts from other counties and members of other youth organisations. Collect/return at county store. Click here for more information.

Aerial runway kit

£50 for the event, to be collected from county store, for own build.

Garden games

£5 per game for the event or 5 games for £20 to be collected from county store. Click here for a list

Any thing collected from store to be returned in good order

While we mostly support County or District events, we can provide shooting or archery activities for Group or Section meetings. Our air rifles and archery equipment are available for use by those who are appropriately trained / qualified.  We also have soft air pistols and soft archery equipment whihc can be used without a permit or other qualification. We make a small charge for this. We also keep a selection of equipment available for hire.  

We can also arrange for those who are interested in leading archery activities for Scout Association members to attain and / or update archery qualifications.
